School Council 2024-2025

Welcome to St. Mark School Council!

The school council is a sounding board for our families on school and division initiatives as well as a place for family input into school matters.  The school council also plays a valuable role in supporting the extended learning experiences at St. Mark.  This includes things such as library books, student-use technology, student activities and extended learning environments, etc.  

Our meetings this year are slated for the second Monday of each month. We will be hosting in-person or virtual meetings which will be announced in the weekly school email/Swift.  Please check our Weekly Update page for the posting of these announcements.

Your School Advisory Council (SAC) has started a fundraising opportunity for our students that you can do safely from your own home. We all have empty bottles and cans piling up in our garage or shed that need to be taken to a bottle depot.  Instead of doing it yourself, why not have Skip the Depot come pick it up for you? The money from the bottles will be directly sent to the SAC and then can be used for our students. It is very simple to start: https://app.skipthedepot.com/stmarkjuniorhigh.  Alternatively you could bring bottles to the school as we have Skip the Depot collecting weekly from St. Mark.
